Gravity Flow Pallet Racking
Gravity Flow Pallet Racking Systems is ideal for pallet loads of large volume SKUs in sorting and distribution operations. They also are a great option where high throughput is required or in a warehouse storage situation that calls for large volumes of each SKUs, such as cross dock dispatch areas. Gravity flow pallet racks act like a conveyor within a rack structure.
This system comprises of compact structures for palletised loads that incorporates roller track sections placed in a sloped lane to allow the pallets to slide over them.
The pallets are loaded from the rear of the racking system, which is the highest part of the rolling section and moved by the force of gravity at a controlled speed towards the front end supported by a braking system.

Special Requirements:
- Inspection of rollers and braking system is required on regular basis
- All the wooden pallets MUST be in a great condition, without any loose planks
- All palletised stock to be properly shrink wrapped before loading onto the racks
- Special SOPs to be designed for staff working around this racking system
- Clear operating areas to be assigned at all times at the front picking aisles
- Trained Forklifts operators only to be assigned for loading and unloading racks
- Perimeter protection is required to ensure limited human access to the racking area
