Description
Push Back Pallet Racking
Push Back Pallet Racking This is a high density pallet storage system in which pallets of like product are stored up to five?deep on a slight upward incline (cart).
This system is best for applications where multiple pallets of individual pallet lines are stored and where the first in first out principle is not a criterion.
Features:
- Reduced pick times
- Highly efficient use of space
- Pick face automatically replenished
- Order processing simplified by stock accessibility
- Risk of stock damage minimized; a variety of handling equipment may be used
Description:
Pushback Pallet Racking provides highly effective use of space by combining high-density storage with high-speed access. The system offers safe and dense storage for up to 5 pallets deep storage and typically up to 5 pallets high.
Pallets are gravity fed via the front using conventional handling equipment and retrieved form the same aisle, so the pick face remains constantly full. Pushback Racking operates on the FILO (First In, Last Out) principle.
All lanes can be accessed from the aisle at any time irrespective of the storage level. this promotes a low damage environment as the fork trucks never enter the rack.
How Push Back System?work:
Pallets are Placed by forklift on nested carts riding on inclined rails. Each pallet is then pushed back by subsequent pallet loading, exposing the next cart. When removing product, the forklift takes out the front pallet, allowing the pallets on carts behind it to roll gently to the front of the rack. The nested carts make placement and retrieval easy.
